On a Windows 2000 Advanced Server, SP3. We've installed
the MS04-011 (835732) patch. But Hfnetchk still says the
patch is not installed. Windows Update says there are no
patches to install. Is anyone else experiencing this
anomaly with Hfnetchk? Any ideas as to why it doesn't
recognize that the patch has been installed?

This is a fairly common asked question, as hfnetchk, MBSA, and Windows
Update all use different message to determine if a patch is installed.
Shortly, all will use a common method of detection; hopefully, there is some
out there that can shed more light on this.
