Doug, the URL that you are providing does not bring you
to the intended article, it brings you to the index of
the 'PCWorld.com' website.

It seems to me this lead is not very accurate and I
wonder if the idea is to lead the reader to navigate all
of the site trying to find the famous article... which I
don't intend to do. Your tip, to be truly helpful, needs
to point accurately to the related information.

I don't know why you had trouble with the URL, because it
works fine on several different computers I've checked it
on. You must have copied it incorrectly. Did you include
the .asp suffix?

I cut and pasted the URL into my browser - but had to add
the ".asp" part manually because of bad line wrapping by a
either your newsreader or the newreader of the guy who
posted the URL. It took me to the appropriate page.

A lot of people set their newsreaders to wrap lines at
ridiculously short lengths like 70 chars - which buggers
things up when they post even reasonably short URLs like
the one in question here.

I have my line wrapping set to 999 chars, so this one
should be clickable for you:
