Hello
The secure sites say"Cannot Find Server"-an example is msn.ca.Now I am receiving "error message 0X800COOO5" when
trying to access Windows Update site. I have Windows XP Home Edition Messenger says"sign-in name and password are not valid"-something along those lines. Same
with microsoft explorer when i try to set up a hotmail account. I don't know if sites are public,SSL sites or what. I'm not
very computer savvy.please help!!!

Secure sites:
In Internet Explorer -
1. Tools > Internet Options > Advanced
2. Scroll down to the Security Settings.
3. Make sure that the two boxes are checked that say
"Enable SSL 2" or "Enable SSL 3".
Try your secure sites.

Another thing you can try is:
Go to start/run
Type in: regsvr32 softpub.dll
