help!

When i try to open a file in Powerpoint 2000 i get a error
message saying unexpected error occured: I/O error 6 i
click ok and it tells me to restart Power Point and try
again.

I have done this, i have tried repairing power point, i
have also uninstalled and re-installed power point but i
still get the same message.

Any help would be great
