HELP ME!!!!!!

Hi All,

I really need some good help here. For the life of me I
acnnot remember how to delete unwanted BARS no appearing
below my regular TOOLBAR in the IE browser window. It
seems they have attached themselves from a program I
recently borrowed from a friend. Yes, I know. You are
thinking that I should have enver borrowed it in the
first place, possibly unsafe. Yes, you are right.

I have re-installed IE 6, with no uccess. I contacted
the HELP CENTRE for HELP. But they were not, any help.
SO I am asking for some of your infinite wisdom to tell
me how the hell to remove these unwated toolbars from
below the regular toolbars in IE 6.

I look forward to your replies and instructions.

Thanks very much for your help.

From,

LOST AND CONFUSED........

Hi,

Depending on what you would like to do, you could start by disabling all
Browser Helper Objects (which can manifest themselves as unwanted bars).

To do this, click on 'Tools', 'Internet Options'. Click on the Advanced
Tab, and then, under the heading of 'Browsing', uncheck the box titled, 'Enable
third-party browser extension's. Click on OK. You may have to restart your
browser and/or computer.

Once disabled, you can remove them through a program called 'BHOCop'.
Download this program from:

http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,4149,270,00.asp

Unzip the program, and install it. Once installed, run it, and you will be
presented with a list of all objects found. You should then be able to remove
them as desired.

Once you have removed all undesired bars, you may wish you re-enable third
party extensions so that legitimate programs (such as the Google Bar), can run.
To enable these extentions, follow the same steps as mentioned above.

Have you looked in the add/remove programs to see if there
is a toolbar installed? It will usually list it there.
