Usually not a problem with the properties or the drivers. You could be out
of other ink colors (particularly if it is the cartridge type that includes
all three ink colors in one (cyan, magenta and yellow)... or clogged heads
which either means a new cartridge or a new print head, depending on the
printer.
Try looking at your printer manual and reading up on maintenance cycles or
cleaning cycles (whichever your printer calls it).
