My computer came installed with vista on one partition and the users and other things on another. I recently had to restore my system and now I cannot log into my account, it just takes me to the system account, even though all of the files are still there unchanged. I would appreciate it if somebody could tell me how i can get my computer back to the way it was before or make vista recognize where my information is.

If you reinstalled to factory settings it will have no other user accounts
other than the default admin account.
Its extreamly unlikely your system was initially configured in the maner in
which you suggest

A greater explanation is needed on what exactly is on this other partition
and what size it is

A year or so ago I worked on an HP laptop that was set up like this. Came
from the factory with 3 partitions.

I did not reset it to factory settings vista would not load before so I ran the repair cd which fixed the startup problem, but now when I try to log on It doesnt load my account it just brings up the system account. The first partition is 40GB and has all of the windows system files on it and the second is 192 GB and only has the user files on it.
