can i get a copy of windows xp home edition for free??or where can i download
it?? i have a license key but i don't have a cd..i deleted the recovery
partion..

Maybe--write to the maker of your PC and see if you can get a replacement CD
at a low cost. Dell even has a request form on its web site so if you
happen to have a Dell, try here:

Since you mention "recovery partition", you apparently have an OEM (Dell,
HP, Sony, etc.) computer. Call the OEM's tech support to get a recovery
disk set. This is usually quite inexpensive, around $25.
