HELP!!!

Fighting for kids

XP Home, SP 1

When I boot im getting a black screen that says

" Boot Failed: System Halted"

Any suggestions?

Actually you are wrong. I figured out what was causing the error and it was
NOT a hardware problem at all. Thanks for actually responding and trying to
help me out.
 
As Sharon asked, please fill us in on the fix to the problem.
