Hi!

I'm having serious trouble with my CanoScan 3200F scanner. I
disconnected the scanner from my computer when I moved to my new
appartment. When reconnected it, the scans were nothing but the colour
blue. I disconnected it, un- and reinstalled the drivers and then
connected the scanner again. This time it couldn't even scan. When I
try, I get an error message.

Is my scanner dead? Anyone had this problem before?

Thanks,
Lars

Not your specific problem.

I would think that since you got some action from the scanner after the
move, that the scanner may or may not be damaged. Did you lock the scanner
before moving?

May be you will have to go into the Windows registry and remove all
references to the Scanner. Then reinstall the software.

Remember to unplug the scanner from USB while removing and installing the
software.

There also is a Canon 'utility' called 'deldrv.exe' which I've used with
success to 'uninstall' the scaning software before reinstalling.
