I used the system recovery on my computer and on my microsoft office it now
ask me for a product key which I have no knowledge of. The software was on my
gateway at the time of purchase. can some one please help me.

If it's not in the documentation that originally came with your PC you'll
probably need to contact Gateway to get a key for your Office programs.

When you run it it will goive you all the keys for your programs.

I don't think Belarc will do it in this case since the registry has most likely been modifies.
In the case of Gateway, they gave you a box with back up copies of Microsoft Office. The Product
Key was on that box. If you did not keep it, you may be SOL.
