Help yourself, dear reader!

Several days ago I posted an inquiry for help as my CD and DVD ROM drivers
wouldn't load.

I was able to solve this problem, exactly how is not my point in writing
this morning.

After NOT receiving any helpful replies to my post I started reading other
posts and answers and found references to "Googling" for Microsoft help. So,
I Googled a request with the key words in the error message I receive when
trying to trouble shoot the CD and DVD ROMs and read the Google responses.
Slowly, but surely, I found very specific and detailed instructions on how
to fix my problem.

So, hopefully, you, dear reader, can do the same.

Remember what one buzzard said to the other. "Patience, my ass! I'm going to
kill something!"

Isn't self help wonderful, If it works you can pat
yourself on the back and tell everyone just how smart you
are. If you are not sucessful, you can just keep you mouth
shut and no one will know......lol

I may have come on too strong in my post, but my computer works today
because the answer to my problem was in this news group, albeit not handed
to me as I had expected. I was trying to urge others on, not showcase
myself.

Glad to give you a laugh and sorry if I offended you.

Anyway, I'm a happy camper this morning.

you did good, a search is always a good place to start. No
one in here is trained to give the correct answer
everytime or even come close. I would say 98% go away with
more than they came here with, some problems are sloved
and some are not. The best thing is thats it's not $35.00
a hour.
