Help won't work

My "help" utility will no longer work. Whether I use F1
or the Start menu, the hard disk light flashes for
several seconds but nothing ever happens. Sony desktop,
Windows XP Home, Pentium 4. Any suggestions are
appreciated.

To reinstall Help and Support: Go to
C:\Windows\inf\pchealth.inf. Right click and choose
install. Have your CD handy.

This is a hidden folder: Go to Start/Run and type
in: control folders. View: Show hidden files and
folders and uncheck Hide extensions for known file types

Last, go to Start/Run and type in: helpctr - regserver
