Help with windows XP SP2 Problems

Hello,
Am running MS Windows XP SP2 and am the following problems:

1. startup menu does not have run and search
2. task manager does not show when ctrl+alt+del is pressed
3. windows registry editor does not open

Those are classic symptoms of virus/malware infection. What is the
malware/virus status of the machine? If you think it is clean, what
programs (and versions) did you use to determine this?

Run some new anti-virus and some new anti-spyware apps. to fix your PC.
