help with video to pc

got video of kid and wish to convert to dvd, have a tv capture card,
and got video connected to pc what do i do now?

iI am looking to put vhs onto dvd,,,sounds like you are doing the same,,,what
is a capture card

I'm sorry, but I'm in the same boat. Am I able to convert vcr's into DVD's
with Windows XP Media Pro? Do I need other software? If so, what? Can
someone please explain how I do this.

Yes you can import and edit analog video and then burn DVDs into XP but
you'll need extra hardware and software in order to complete the task.

a) An analog capture card or a graphics card with VIVO or an external
analog capture device

b) Third party analog editing software (often comes with the analog hardware
device)

c) A DVD burner

d) DVD burning software.
