help with task manager

when i try to start task manager it apears on the taskbar next to the clock wheather i hit ctrl-alt-del or right-click the taskbar

Start Task Manager so that the icon appears next to the clock. Double click
the icon. When the Task Manager window appears, click on Options and click
to remove the check next "Hide when minimized."

try double clicking the tray icon and seeing if the ui opens
