Hello All

It appears that I have disbled some of the menus on my data base

I am unable to select the tools file tab (on top of MS Access. I have been
playing with the Startup submenu and unchecked some boxes (one of them has
obviously disabled the tools menu)

Is there a way to get this feature back???

Please help! :-(

Are you saying you cannot select Tools | Startup and re-check the
appropriate box(es)?

Good luck

Sam, when you go to open your database, hold down the Shift key. This should
give you full access to everything. Then, simply go back to the startup menu
and add back whatever you did not mean to remove.

Bypass Startup hold shift key down

To bypass the start up options you put in, you must hold down the shift key. Then you can get back in to change the start up options again.

Understanding how to utilize startup features makes for a much more controlled end-user experience. Custom menus are very useful as well.
