Help with safe mode

I Have a virus that was found during error reporting and need to use the
windows live safety program in safe mode to find the virus but my inet wont
work in safe mode how do I get it to work? Using lan connection.

I don't have a clue what "windows live safety program" is but you need to
start in Safe Mode with Networking. It's one of the choices for starting in
Safe Mode.

- Click Start > Run > type msconfig, click OK

- click into the BOOT.INI tab

- select 'SAFEBOOT'

- select 'Network'

- Click OK > restart computer

This will load the network drivers into Safe Mode but I'm not sure if you'll
be able to use Internet Explorer from Safe Mode. Good Luck.

Should be able to use IE in Safe Mode with networking.
