In regedit, when I want to play around or change some
user settings, in HKEY_USERS how can I figure out which
number or encryption is the user? Im getting things like
S-1_5-18. Thanks

As a General rule, the only subkeys you will see under HKEY_USERS are yours
and various system accounts. Other user accounts will not be listed.

See www.dougknox.com, Win XP Tips, Advanced Registry Editing for information
on how to load another user's Registry data into Regedit so you can work on
it.
