Help with Password Protection

Is there any way I can password-protect my PC? Like if a
user turned on my desktop, he or she would require a
password to access the content within? I've had my
privacy violated before & it was extremely upsetting.

I'm using Windows XP Home Edition.

Please help, thanks

Hi,
Click onStart
Click on Settings
Click on Control panel
Click on User Accounts (at bottom of list)
Click on your user Icon
Follow instructions
