Help with Password Lock

When I try to open my database, it gives me a pop up of username and
password. Now, even when I open other databases, it's also asking for
username password. Can someone help? I tried deleting the database and
replacing it with my backup copy and its still doing the same.

Thanks.

Try opening Access - without opening any database - and use Tools...
Security... Workgroup Manager.

What's happened is that you have joined a secured workgroup (probably
for a specific secured database). That workgroup needs your ID and
password.

Instead, use the Workgroup Manager to (re-)join the default SYSTEM.MDW
workgroup file, which will usually be located in C:\Windows\System32\.
If it's not, do a search for .MDW files.

It's possible (if you were really unwise and/or unlucky and made a
mistake following the complex setup instructions for Access database
security) that you've changed the default System.MDW file. If so post
back... this can be undone, if you can log on at all, but it's tedious
to explain and to do.
