Help with Norton AV

Can anyone tell me how to set up Norton AV so that it
doesn't scan everything I mail out? I have it on "scan
automatically," so it doesn't only scan incoming e-mail,
it scans the mail I send out, which is an annoyance since
I'm not sending out anything that contains a virus! If I
send several pictures to a friend, then I have to wait
while Norton scans every single picture before I can go
on the web or else I get the message "this page cannot be
displayed." Your help will be sincerely appreciated.

Open your Norton AntiVirus program and perform the following:

Click on Options > Email and uncheck "Scan Outgoing Email"
