Help with MN 500 Wireless Base Station setup

I have a mn 500 already that I am using for my home network. I am
trying to setup a mn 500 for a friend but I go through the setup
software and when it tries to program the router at the end it fails
for firewall or virus or it wants me to restore it to factory with a
pin reset. I tried both with no luck.

I have tried to access the router with http://192.168.2.1/ in browser
but it won't connect that way either.

Any ideas?
Thanks

The most likely cause would be the firewall, second would be malware
that won't let you access that address. So you should:

- Disable the firewall, or make sure it allows connection to the router,
when you're prompted to allow or continue blocking the address. If the
prompt was missed, and the address/software was blocked, you may need to
go into the firewall settings, find a reference to the router or the ip
address, and allow them.

- Run these:

Malwarebytes© Corporation
http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam/program/mbam-setup.exe

SuperAntispyware
http://www.superantispyware.com/superantispywarefreevspro.html

- Reinstall the router.

Is this MN 500 the only thing connected to the computer LAN connection?
And then make sure the firewall is disabled, some 3rd party firewalls
may have to be removed.

I disabled wins Firewall and even removed AVG during the time of the
install with same message. I will have to sweep my computer. Maybe I
will try to program it on another computer.
