Help With Kodak Easyshare

I recently switched my operating system from Millenium to XP Home and I am having difficulty getting my Kodak Easyshare software to work. I have downloaded the most recent version of the software from Kodak's website already. I spent two hours on the phone with their technical support and their suggestion is that my HP Pavilion USB driver needs an update installed. I have verified that the camera and software operate normally on another computer so the issue is not with the camera or software. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Was the second system exactly the same setup as the one you are having
problems with your software on?

It is possible for things to work correctly on one system and not another
because files can become corrupt.

Did you perform a clean install of XP or Did you just install on top of
Millennium?

Try uninstalling the Kodak Software and shutdown all programs running in the
background then reinstall the software. If you still have problems try the
driver update suggestion or at least check to make sure you have the latest
driver.

To further help you please post what diffculty you are having with the
software.

Control the things you can and Don't Worry about the things you can't

When I try to download pictures from the camera to my pc, the transfer does not happen. If you open the software, it does not seem to recognize the connection to the camera.
