help with gmail using win mail

Ok I set the in coming mail to pop.gmail.com and pop.googlemail.com
The outgoing mail to smtp.gmail.com and smtp.googlemail.com
Out going SMTP is 465
Incoming pop3 is 995
User (e-mail address removed) and password
Checked box for my server requires authentication
I have also uninstalled Norton
I found the way to do it before through a post by Julian but I can not find
that post and I need your help please.

if you are trying to set your windows mail account to open in your gmail then
just go to your gmail account ,settings,forwarding pop/imap and use
instructions in there.hope this helps

I went to my gmail and everything is set up correctly me keeping getting the
same error code

Port: 995, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

I feel like an ?. It seems so simple but I can not figure it out

I went back and set up a new account using the IMAP instead of the pop3 and
it worked again thank you very much.

You forgot to enable SSL, as required by Gmail.
