Hi, I am quite new to MSAccess97 but have managed to create two tables 1) Inventory and 2) Issues.The two tables are linked using a field called part numbers. I havealso created a form where data can be entered into
the table Issues. In this form there is also a subform showing the linked record from the table Inventory once
the part number has been entered. What I need to do now is that when a number is enter in field QTY of the
form, this number must then be checked against the Stock holding Field in the Inventory table and if the
diffrence is equal less then zero then an error message " Not enought Quantity" displayed and the entry
should not be saved. And if the result is zero or more the record should be saved.
