I have a wireless connection to an unsecured network so i don't think i have

10 steps back...Do you have an ISP? Good question...who is it? What kind
of contract do you have? (free, monthly, home, business). Have you
contacted an ISP in order to get service?

Don't be so quick to condemn. In another thread Patrick stated
that he had a wireless connection to a service with the SSID "free the net".
There are quite a few wireless hotspots and networks that are perfectly
legitimate for free use by anyone.

If it's legitimate and free for anyone then he should have stated that in
this thread.

our only task here is to provide technical support.

Ignorance is no excuse for the law and can land you time. Enough wasted on
this thread and you sir are not the one deciding what Task it is or is not
for everyone.
