help with creating recovery disks

I decided to create my recovery disks on dvd-r disks. Disk one was written
and verified, disk 2 was written but i received a message that it failed
verification. I repeated the process to create disk 2 four times and they
all failed the same wayt. is there another way to create these disks?

Do you mean you are making Boot Disks or doing a backup? How are you making
the recovery disks?
