Is this MSN account a POP account (for which MSN would have sent you server
details) or is it an HTTP account? If the latter, Outlook will fill in the
correct values. In fact, Outlook 2007 should be able to set up your account
with MSN simply by knowing your mail address. Since you don't state your
Outlook version, its impossible to tell whether or not this applies to you.

Two methods exist. The easiest to set up is by following the
instructions on this page:

http://www.qwest.com/internethelp/msn/mail.html#7

Note that if you scroll up or down there are instructions for Outlook
Express and MSN Browser too.

If you like POP3 protocol, pop3.live.com 995 SSL, smtp.live.com 25 SSL,
my outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication, User Name
(e-mail address removed).

Cheers and good luck,

Setup is determined by the type of account.
Setting for http vs pop3 are different.
Which kind of msn.com email account do you have ?
- free , fee based etc.
