Help w/HP R80...

If anyone is familiar with the HP R-80 All-in-one printer, please let me
know if you find XP's built in software to be better than HP's... In
upgrading my PC, I see XP recognized the R80, has the printer anc scanner
each set up as well.. I'd like to keep XP's software if it's good... and not
install HP's.. unless, of course, HP's is better...

I'm thinkging in terms of not only scanning and printing, but aligning
cartridges, testing communications as well.. probably not all that important
since aligning carts can be done from the printers console... thanks!

Hello

Well all you have is either HP's software or what XP uses and
that's pretty much it

Yes, seems that way... I've used HP's under 98se.. should I install HP's
under XP or use XP's built in software? Have you tried both, any comments?
Thanks again!
