The message that came up after scan showed these files with virus embeded.
Documents &
Settings\owner\applicationData\Java\Deployment\cache\javapi\v1.01jar\count.jar-5042d0ea-214bGaTa.zip\Get Access.class

File same with this extension on end \Insecure.ClassLoader.class
Ditto - on end of file Installer.class
Also A0011868 VSG

I am using XP Windows. I posted this yesterday but the menu didn't come up,
just English (languages) and now I can't find where posted.

Need help desperately. I did the scan offered by microsoft live and it
showed same results as AVG antivirus.

I think you are looking for this

http://java.com/en/download/help/cache_virus.xml

On my tabs I only have General. Update, Java, Security, Advanced. Am I
understanding that this is not dangerous? Thank you for your help so far.
But need more.

Click on Advanced and empty the cache, along with the virus. It's not
dangerous.

There are anti virus News Groups specifically for this type of discussion.

microsoft.public.security.virus

If you are using any version of Sun Java that is prior to JRE Version 5.0,
then you are strongly urged to remove any/all versions that are prior to JRE/JSE
Version 5.0. There are vulnerabilities in them and they are actively being exploited.
It is possible that is how you got infected with malware.

Therefore, it is highly suggested that if there are any prior versions of Sun Java
to Version 5 on the PC that they be removed and Sun Java JRE/JSE Version 5.0 Update 7
be installed ASAP.

Simple check, look under...
C:\Program Files\Java

The only folder under that folder should be the latest version...

C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_07

1) Dump the contents of your IE cache -
Start --> settings --> control panel --> Internet options --> delete files

2) Dump the contents of the Mozilla FireFox Cache { if you use FireFox }
Tools --> Options --> Privacy --> Cache --> Clear

3) Dump the contents of your Sun Java cache -
Start --> settings --> control panel --> Java applet --> cache --> clear
or
Start --> settings --> control panel --> Java applet --> general --> settings -->
delete files

4) Re-scan your system using your anti virus software.

God Bless You. Thank you so much for your help. Computer totally clean --no
virus. That did the trick. Again - Thank you.
