Help. Trojan Horses.

I have been having problems recently with the performance of my PC and after reading through many of the posts on this section I have run two free online scanners. Both of which say I have three Trojan Horses. Results below. of which one is related to windows media player where I have noticed alot of the problems e.g. 100% CPU. Is there ne free software or easy idiot proof way i could get rid of these trojan horses. NE help would be greatly apreciated.

C:\WINDOWS\redirect6.exe infected: Trojan.Clicker.VB.AU
C:\WINDOWS\redirect6.exe unable to disinfect
C:\WINDOWS\system32\0021-bdl94126.EXE infected: Trojan.Downloader.VB.Revop
C:\WINDOWS\system32\0021-bdl94126.EXE unable to disinfect

Scanner 2
C:\WINDOWS\madise.dll is infected with Trojan Horse
C:\WINDOWS\system32\install2.exe is infected with Downloader.Trojan
C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe.tmp is infected with Downloader.Trojan

Firstly make sure your anti virus software definitions are up to date.
Second make sure your firewall is enabled. Third make sure your windows xp
is fully updated with microsoft patches and updates.
Visit www.symantec.com and search for the particular trojan you have. You
should find a free removal tool which you can download to remove the trojan.
