Help: Tips Broadcasting TV

Hi

We would like to broadcast our TV program (Live) on web. I have frontpage
2002. Is it possible to create such web site by Front page? Do I need any
extra software or hardware?

a subweb would be a good way to start. you'll need to also have some other
software to do the broadcast though.
I've seen something at www.tigerdirect.com that allows taped video to be
broadcast and there's a utility at www.coffeecup.com for uploading web-cam
stuff.
You may also want to look into the windows media player SDK for some
insight.

Good morning.

There are several aspects to what you want to do. You
already have the source information. Now you need to get it
into the computer. Your AV eqpt may have this or you would
need a capture card for that. Next thing would be an
encoder, I use Windows Media Encoder (free from MS). Now
you have to get this on a server. Windows 2000 and 2003
both have Media Services for true streaming. Last would be
a webpage to pull the information, I use the Media Player
plugin for FrontPage.
