HELP ! Taskbar buttons not showing. :(

Hi,

my taksbar buttons have disappeared. Open applications do not show in the
taskbar. If I minimize them, there's no way to get them back without
ALT-TAB'ing between them. The start button is there, the quick launch bar is
there, the tray icons and clock are there. But not the buttons ! Someone
please help, it's insane trying to use Windows like that.

If I turn the quick launch bar and the language bar off, the task bar simply
disappears ! Only a grey line is left. It's not set to auto-hide. What on
earth is going on !

Why - could be any reason. Main thing is that the problem is fixable by a simple
regedit in most cases.
