Hi all
I have just installed XP home for the remote assistance
feature, as my parents are quite elderly and its a pain
having to trot back and forth to fix realtively simple
things on their computers.
Having upgraded to Messenger 4.7 - then up to 6.0 remote
assistance refuses to work, as does the help and support
feature... anyone got any ideas?

There's no such thing as /Windows/ Messenger 6.0 - that's *MSN* Messenger
and it doesn't support RD - they are two different - and mutually
exclusive - applications. 4.7 is the current version of Windows Messenger.
MSN Messenger supports Remote Assistance but - and someone correct me if I'm
wrong - that doesn't allow you to take control of the other computer, merely
to view the other party's desktop.

What do you mean by "help and support refuses to work"?
