Help submitting MEMORY.DMP

G

Guest

Hello,

I had a crash dump that was written out to disk. The server is a SQL Server
2000 sp3 on a Windows 2000 server. I want to submit this for analysis, but
after going to: http://oca.microsoft.com/en/welcome.aspx, I still have no
idea how to submit this memory.dmp file.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am not seeing anything on that web page that indicates: "while using
Microsoft Windows XP". Could you refer it it me to that, please? Moreover,
regardless whether or not this web page is the correct entry point for
submission, could anybody point out the known submission processes for
submitting Windows 2000 dump files?

Thanks for your response.

I see that in the paragraph labeled "How it works" This article may also
help.

Let me phrase it this way. What are the ways to submit a memory dump for
Windows Server 2000 to Microsoft?

I don't think there is a way other than starting a paid support incident
with product support.
