Help Sought: Modem disconnects after a short period - Dial-Up A/c

Hi,

The modem disconnects after a period of approx 3 to 5 minutes. I've
used the Troubleshooter but found no help there. I've checked all the
settings and deleted/re-installed the Dial-Up connection.

What is the value in the Control Panel / Network Connections / Properties /
Options / Idle time fegore hanging up ??

Thanks for replying. I've shifted the internal modem from PCI slot
one to three and updated the drivers. That seems to have fixed it.
Fingers (eyes) crossed.
