Help! Serious font problems

Please help!

I have a Dell Inspiron 630M with Windows XP SP2 and at regular intervals,
but not every time I turn the computer on, the whole font in Windows is in a
wingdings type font, not the usual Microsoft font. Virus and spyware scans
have not picked up any dodgey files.

Please help, I don't have a clue about how to solve this issue.

You should delete all your fonts except for the one that you want your
system to be in.
