Hi,

Can Any one help me to understand the formula:


MIN(FLOOR(E12/12-E14-E16-E15,5),1250)

E12, the value is 300000
E14, the value is 10000
E16, the value is 800
E15, the value is 780

Can any one help me in understanding for the same.

This is your Function : MIN(FLOOR(E12/12-E14-E16-E15,5),1250)

Lets break it apart into pieces. With Function you have to work from the
inside to outside.

FLOOR(300000/12-10000-800-780, 5) = FLOOR(13420, 5) = 13420

Remember, the FLOOR Function rounds the number (13420) to the nearest
multiple listed which is 5. So the Function Returns 13420.

Now your have MIN(13420, 1250) = 1250. Remember, the MIN Funtion will
return the smallest of the two numbers listed. In this case it is 1250
