help removing dual boot after removing xp

I removed XP to install a clean version of win 2000. I deleted all partitions
and formated them. However, after installing windows 2000, I get a dual boot
screen showing win XP as an OS option.

What did I do wrong and how do I clean this up?

Would appreciate any advise.
