help!! remote procedure call...

i have just installed winxp pro a home computer with no
network at all. i've tried clean install and upgradeing
it. no matter what i method i try the sec i get online
10min latter i get 1st an error "generic host for win32
services" then cloeses nad displyes a mgs "remote
procedure call" something about unexpected stop and them
it shuts that down the computer after 1min. please any
type of help.

Going online is connecting to a network.
Probably Sasser, but maybe Blaster.
