Help! Recovery

Hi, I have recently rebooted the whole computer from the
recovery disc's included with my pc. However, when my pc
starts I noticed there are two copies of windows xp
running. My pc is horribly slow. I cant find the old copy
or how to remove it...please help!

Hi Jessi,

Go to Start/Run and type in: msconfig
Then go to the Boot.ini Tab and click on Check All Boot Paths. If you
receive a warning about a duplicate path: Do you want to remove, choose
yes.

Or...

Right click the My Computer icon/Properties/Advanced/Startup and
Recovery/Settings/System Startup/Edit.
