Help. Recommendations for K72N replacement?

A few years ago I built a PC for my girlfriend. Not really dealing
with hardware that much, I possess only intermediate knowledge of PC
building. The machine was up and running though, and ran without
problems.

Last week the motherboard blew. As all of the other components (RAM,
processor, video card, etc.) are working fine, we'd like to find an
equivalent replacement that is literally "plug and go". The original
motherboard was an MSI K72N, but when I checked some of my local
resellers they only had it available via special order. Can anyone
recommend a decent, low cost (sub $150) replacement? The machine is a
completely end-user: web browsing, word processing, powerpoint, file
sharing and MP3 playing/CD burning. No gaming, no intensive apps,
etc., so high performance isn't really needed.

Thanks for any help!

I had one of those, good board. If I don't use MSI I like Epox.
