help! Program closing down

I have used windows movie maker before, with no trouble.
I made 1 movie with sound, transitions, effects and put
it on to disc. Now when trying to do another movie i
can add the pictures and audio but as soon as i click on
effects or transitions the program just closes down.
Can anyone please help me fix this problem as i love
using this program

Brenny,

One of the software apps you added probably introduced one of the codecs
that MM2 has problems with. See the Problem Solving... Acceleration and
Codecs page of www.papajohn.org
