My backgrounds have gone pink! I have a tft monitor so a faulty tube is not
the problem. if I press auto setup on the monitor, I get perfect colour until
it has completed the setup then reverts back to a pink overcast to the
background ie the xp bliss desktop has a pink cast to it, when a window is
open, the tool bars are pink but the work area of the screen is white
(correct) clue is when shutting down, as the screen normally goes black and
white, it has the pink overcast to it. where your tool bars etc are normally
grey, mine are now pink. all photos are also tinted. this happened after the
power went off, when I switched my pc back on, it was pink! this was an
accidental power cut, ie turned the wrong socket off, not lightning or
supplier power cut just turned off whilst running.
