help! Problem in Replace function.

i am having with replacing word with back space.

such as: the reaction
the question
another
the reaction
the question
another
the reaction
the question
another
the reaction
the question
another

and now i want replace 'question' with no letter and with back space.

result: the reaction
the another
the reaction
the another
the reaction
the another

If any one could tell me how to do. Thx.

A "back space" is an action, not a character so you can't repalce anything
with it. You can replace a paragraph marker or other white space followed by
"question" with another paragraph marker (or nothing).
 
This should work:
In the "Find What" box: "question^p"
In the Replace box: " " (a space)
