Help...printing w/ XP in mixed-domain environment

Bryan

Hello...can anyone offer advice to the following
situation. My environment is this:
-Home machine is Windows XP Home Edition desktop machine
w/ a HP Officejet v40 attached via USB, networked via
Ethernet to wireless router
-Laptop 1 is Windows 2K Pro, part of my office domain,
networked via wireless NIC
-Latpop 2 is Windows XP Pro, part of wife's office domain,
networked via wireless NIC
-wireless 802.11b router serves as DHCP server, all 3
machines on the same subnet, but different domains

I cannot make the machines part of the same
domain/workgroup since we tunnel into our respective
domains. Is there any way to share the printer btwn the 3
machines. The laptops cannot see the printer and there's
no way to put a NIC in the printer and use IPP to print.

When all 3 machines were networked via an Ethernet hub and
used the desktop machine as the DHCP server (and ICS for
the Inet connection), printing worked w/o issue. Since
I've switched to wireless environment, the laptops can't
print. The wireless router is a Belkin unit...I've tried
setting it up as an Access Point only, but that doesn't
work.

Any ideas? Thanks.

This should really be asked in the xp networking newsgroup. You'd probably
get much better advice/support there!
