I used to have a Tiscalli account and used Outlook Express for email management. Now we connect to internet using broadband. However we cannot send emails via our tiscalli pop/smtp account but we can receive/download our tiscalli emails

I believe the problem is because we have to be on a Tiscalli internet connection before we are allowed to use their smtp server to send email. Is there a way to get around this issue - like faking IP address or something

What other ways we can do to keep on using our tiscalli email sending/receiving but using our broadband connection (which is not Tiscalli)

Ask them. Most people (for good reason) do not allow "relaying". You may
just have to add an authentication for yout SMTP server, but only they can
tell you this.

Most Broadband ISP suppliers have their own SMTP/Mail outgoing servers -
just substitute your tiscali outgoing for your Broadband one - and
everything will be tickety boo !!
