There are lots... some are free, many aren't. Try www.mozarella.org or
www.aioe.org, both are free (with ads). Many internet service providers offer
NNTP (newsgroup) access, though some of the tech support people may not be
aware of it.

thank you, but what about ones i could use with windows mail, like
msnews.microsoft.com.

i typed in the website in the spot in windows mail where it says type in the
NNTP server. thats where i typed in msnews.microsoft.com, but when i type in
that website, it wouldnt work. could you or someone else tell me of other
servers to subscribe to. Thx

If you go to those websites in Internet Explorer, you can sign up for an
account that will allow you to use their news servers.

I use:

news.microsoft.com

in Mozilla Thunderbird to access the Microsoft newsgroups.

I have been using Internet Explorer Beta 8 for most things, but for
comp.databases.ms-access it doesn't keep a history of the links I've
visited so I use Firefox for that.
