Open TweakUI (it's in Start -> Programs -> Powertoys for Windows XP).
To disable unread mail notification:
Click "Logon" > Unread mail > uncheck ""Show unread mail on Welcome Screen"
To reset the unread mails count:
Select "Repair" > Repair Unread Mail Count and click "Repair Now"

When I start my pc using xp a blue page opens and it shows how many emails I
have. Is there a way to stop it showing my emails?
